Magdaleno “Casey” Santella Villalun, 66, of Las Vegas, formerly of Hilo and Pepeekeo, died Sept. 17 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. Born in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a fish cutter for Suisan in Hilo and Hosoda Brothers in Las Vegas, cutter operator for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co., farmer and U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed cooking, socializing, collecting antiques and Hawaiian soda bottles, and classic cars.
