Eunice Sawako Kagimoto Dobbins Nagel, 78, of Waimea, Kauai, died Oct. 12 at home. Born in Hilo, she retired form Walmart. Visitation 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 18) at Crossnet Ministries Hilo in the Hilo Lagoon Centre, 101 Aupuni St., Suite 147. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Survived by daughters, Patricia (Mark) Isoshima, Pamela Dobbins, Libby (Tomas) Sales and Margaret (Mark Yap) Dobbins; son, Benjamin Dobbins; daughter-in-law, Carol Kagimoto; brothers, Jerry (Judy) Kagimoto, Larry Kagimoto and Harry Moriwaki; sister, Karen Michal; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Howard Masami Nakata, 61, of Pauoa, Oahu, formerly of Hilo, died Aug. 22 in Ewa Beach, Oahu. Born in Honolulu, he was a musician and owner of the former Music II in Hilo, baseball coach and member of the AJA Baseball League. May call 10-11 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 18) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Ramon “Sugar” Rodero, 85, of Hilo died Oct. 20 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was retired from the Hilo Sugar and Hilo Coast Processing companies, was a college-certified volleyball referee and baseball and softball umpire and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran.
