Born in Pepeekeo, she was a retired county tax office clerk and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hawaii Government Employees Association, Sacred Heart Society of Immaculate Heart of Mary, and honorary member of South Hilo Rotary Club.
