George Joji Yamanaka, 76, of Hilo died Oct. 30 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired senior systems analyst for Royal State Financial Corp. Services held. Survived by wife, Flora Yamanaka of Hilo; sons, Todd (Miyoko) Yamanaka of Honolulu and Tedd Yamanaka of Pearl City, Oahu; sisters, Florence Shibata and Frances Kanno of Hilo; five grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.
