Full Life Hawaii, Abled Hawaii Artists and the Donkey Mill Art Center announce the second annual Pua Na Pua Art Festival, empowering people of all abilities to explore self-employment through the arts.
The festival is slated for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 2) at Keauhou Shopping Center’s Center Courtyard. The shopping center is located at 78-6831 Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona.
The event will feature arts, crafts and artisanal items, live music, demonstrations, a silent auction and more.
Celebrate artists of all abilities while shopping for locally made hand-crafted gifts. Participate in the silent auction for a chance to win gift certificates, handmade art or certificates for adventures and experiences. The craft booth will give makers of all ages an opportunity to make their own hand-printed gift cards.
This year’s event also will feature work made especially for the festival by Full Life and Abled Hawaii Artists participants in workshops hosted by the Donkey Mill.
Participants explored three different media throughout the course of six days, including printmaking, ceramics and metals/enameling. Be sure to look for these special items during the festival.
The Pua Na Pua festival is possible because of the partnership between Full Life Hawaii, Abled Hawaii Artists and the Donkey Mill; working together to make enriching art experiences and opportunities possible for artists of all abilities.
