Margaret Lee Blankenship, 91, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 17 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Centerville, Kan., she was a retired medical office manager and “golden member” of Kailua-Kona Seniors Club. Celebration of Life at a later date. Survived by sons, Sam (Sue Delovio) Blankenship of Ocean View and Tom Blankenship of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter, Sue (Darrel) Holdbrook of Kailua-Kona; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Raymond “Tommy” Thomas Mata Sr., 75, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 22 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Hilo, he was a retired maintenance worker for Jameson’s by the Sea and maintenance worker for the former Kona Surf Resort.
