Police have issued a composite drawing of the suspect in a road rage stabbing on Nov. 22 in Puna and are seeking the public’s help to identifying the man, who’s wanted for assault.
Police have issued a composite drawing of the suspect in a road rage stabbing on Nov. 22 in Puna and are seeking the public’s help to identifying the man, who’s wanted for assault.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 40’s, about 6-feet-tall, 170 pounds with shoulder-length blond hair. He was wearing a gray or white T-shirt, blue denim shorts, and black slippers.
The suspect was driving what was described as a light-colored Nissan Versa that was last seen driving toward Pahoa direction on Moho Road (Road 8) in Hawaiian Acres subdivision.
The victim, a 25-year-old Pahoa man told police the man stabbed him in the chest following an argument on Moho Road. He was taken by ambulance to Hilo Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Police recovered the knife suspected to have been used in the stabbing.
