James “Chuck” Charles Conley, 81, of Keaau died Nov. 9 at home. Born in Pawhuska, Okla., he was a retired English teacher and U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Private services held. Kenneth Seiji Imanaka, 77, of Hilo died Nov. 7 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired printer. Private services held. Elizabeth Mele (Allen) Naope, 85, of Keaau died Dec. 9 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a retired salesclerk who enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, making feather lei and gardening.
