Campbell “Bobo” Kuhia Hui Jr., 51, of Waimea died Dec. 18 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in North Kohala, he was a rock wall specialist. Private service to be held. Survived by son, Aarson Hui of Honokaa; daughter, Chelsea Hui of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Bernie (John) Collo and Dorothy (Gary) Souza of Waimea; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Everett “Ev” A. Rea III, 94, of Cold Spring, N.Y., formerly of Volcano, died Nov. 21 at home. Born in Webster City, Iowa, he was a consulting actuary for a variety of firms in Los Angeles, Honolulu and San Francisco and retired as a partner at KPMG, an avid golfer who served as treasurer of the No Hu Hu men’s golf group for more than 20 years and was a former member of the California Golf Club in South San Francisco, member of Sigma Pi fraternity and co-founder of the Upsilon Chapter Sigma Pi “Old Men’s Club” and veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving primarily on Guadalcanal, and U.S. Naval Reserve. He also helped build one of the earliest computers, ENIAC, while attending the University of California Los Angeles. Private service to be held in the spring. Survived by daughter, Joel Ann (Joe Brancatelli) Rea of Cold Spring; brother, Ralph King Rea of Laguna Hills, Calif.; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Clinton Funeral Home of Cold Spring.

Mildred Kumoye Yoshida, 93, of Wahiawa, Oahu, died Nov. 28 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Wahiawa, she was retired from Sears Roebuck.
