Vikings golf benefit

The Friends of Viking Golf will hold its 33rd annual golf tournament Jan. 27th at Hilo Municipal Golf Course. The entry fee is $270 per two-man team, which covers team prizes, four mulligans, four par 3s, green fees, cart fees, lunch, and tee prizes.

The Waiakea Pirates youth baseball organization is looking for PONY (ages 12-13) players for the 2018 season.

Honokaa High is accepting applications for varsity head girls volleyball coach. Applications will be available at the main office during school hours from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Deadline is Friday, Dec. 29.

Vuls baseball clinic

The Department of Parks and Recreation will hold its annual Waiakea ‘Uka Vulcan baseball clinic Jan. 13.

The free clinic for ages 7-13 runs 9-11:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 8 a.m.
