Hawaiian Springs files for bankruptcy

Hawaiian Springs LLC, which operates a well and bottling plant in Keaau, filed for bankruptcy last week.

The water bottling company listed its assets and liabilities between $1 million and $10 million, according to its Chapter 11 reorganization filing with U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

The company filed for bankruptcy Friday.

As of 2016, the company was planning to build another bottling facility in Pahala.

The company didn’t return a request for comment Wednesday.
