Konawaena, for once, was an underdog in Saturday’s HHSAA Division I girls basketball championship game after being seeded second.

Cherilyn Molina scored 22 points with eight rebounds and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player as the Wildcats won their fourth consecutive state title.
