Expect traffic delays due to Haili Street roadwork

The county’s Highway Maintenance Division on Monday began resurfacing Haili Street from the Kamehameha Avenue intersection to Ululani Street. The work is estimated to be completed Feb. 23.

Working hours are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and to drive with caution. Alternating lane closures will be in effect, and at least one lane of travel (for two-way traffic) will be provided through the construction area.

Parking stalls in the work zone will be unavailable during resurfacing.
