A vacant home was destroyed by fire Thursday in Ainaloa subdivision.
Eight units responded to the 2:09 p.m. alarm, with the first unit arriving 10 minutes later.
Arriving firefighters found the home about half involved in flames. The fire was under control at 2:50 p.m. and extinguished at 3:30 p.m.
No other homes were threatened and the cause of the blaze is undetermined, according to a written Fire Department statement.
