The public is invited to weigh in on a draft of the county’s Transit Master Plan.
A series of public meetings are scheduled for next month to gather input on the plan, which will provide a 20-year “look ahead” at the transit system and what is needed through 2040.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
• 3-5 p.m. April 7 at the Pahoa Neighborhood Facility, 15-2910 Kauhale St.
• 3-5 p.m. April 8 at Ocean View Community Center.
• 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 10 at the Waimea Elementary School cafeteria.
• 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 12 at the Kona Council Chambers.
• 3-5 p.m. April 15 at Keaau Community Center, 16-186 Pili Mua St.
• 5-7 p.m. April 16 at the Aupuni Center Conference Room in Hilo.
