The canoe hale section of Hilo Bayfront Park remains closed, as does Coconut Island (Moku Ola) and all county beach parks in Keaukaha from Reeds Bay Beach Park to Richardson Ocean Beach Park.
A high surf warning remains in effect for shorelines in Windward Kohala, Hamakua, North and South Hilo and Puna. The highest surf should coincide with high tide at 7:45 p.m. this evening.
