Duane “Sonny” Anthony Breithaupt, 54, of Waiohinu died March 21 in Ka‘u. Born in Pahala, he was a journeyman welder for Royal Hawaiian Orchards, Pop Warner Football coach and outdoorsman. All-night vigil starting 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, at family home on Mamalahoa Highway in Waiohinu. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Kauahaao Congregational Church in Waiohinu. Milton Rosalo Iopa, 63, of Hilo died March 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Teruichi “Coffee” Kohashi, 87, of Hilo died March 4 on Oahu. Born in Hilo, he was a retired captain for the Hawaii Fire Department Inspection Division, U.S. Army and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran and member of Kinoole Baptist Church and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6. Patricia “Patti” Lum Lafleur, 73, of Volcano died March 22 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a retiree and member of New Hope-Volcano and Daughters of God.
