Born in Kalaoa, Kona, she was retired and previous part owner of the former Laau’s Fishing, held managerial positions at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Waiakea Villas, was a member of the Kawaihae Canoe Club, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints faith and a U.S. Army veteran.
