A 55-year-old Leilani Estates man is in custody after police executed a search warrant on his Kupono Street home for the second time this year.

Jack Marshall Brenha is charged with first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, two counts of third degree promotion of a dangerous drug, marijuana possession, possessing drug paraphernalia and two counts of unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.

His bail was set at $201,000 and he’s due in court this afternoon.

Just before noon Monday, police recovered 369.3 grams of heroin — more than 4/5 of a pound — just under a gram of crystal methamphetamine, an ounce of marijuana and just over $8,100 in cash, which is subject to possible forfeiture.

The drugs have an estimated street value of just over $93,000.00, police said.

Officers also recovered a stolen wallet containing the alleged victim’s identification, police said.

Also arrested at the scene 46-year-old Samuel Keohokapu of Pahoa, who has since been released from custody pending further investigation.

At the time of the raid, Brenha was out on bail stemming from charges related to another search warrant police served on his home at the same address on February 2. At the time of that raid, police recovered 293.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine — more than a half-pound — 9.2 grams of heroin, 56.1 grams of dried processed marijuana, just over $22,000 in cash and four firearms.

He was charged at that time with first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and numerous other drug and firearms offenses. Brenha’s bail for those charges was originally set at $156,500, but was later reduced by Hilo District Judge Harry Freitas to $81,000, according to court records.
