Na kumu hula Karl Veto Baker and Michael Lanakila Casupang and Halau I Ka Wekiu from Oahu bring their love for hula to Waimea at 4 p.m. Sunday (July 22) at the Kahilu Theatre.
The kumu will present songs old and new featured on their latest CD release under the name KUmZ. Enjoy an evening filled with the love of their artistry and creativity
The event, “A Foundation of Love,” celebrates the 20-year anniversary of Halau I Ka Wekiu. The show also will feature a special guest, Hawaii Island’s own kumu hula Nani Lim Yap.
Tickets cost $20, $25 or $35, plus a $3 box office fee.
