Memorial services for fallen Officer Bronson Kaliloa, who was fatally shot in the line of duty July 17, will be Saturday, Aug. 4 at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
Memorial services for fallen Officer Bronson Kaliloa, who was fatally shot in the line of duty July 17, will be Saturday, Aug. 4 at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
Visitation for family only is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Public visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
The service, which is open to the public, is from 10-11:30 a.m.
After the service, there will be a funeral procession leaving the Civic, traveling to the Pahoa police station, and returning to Hilo. The procession will pass Hilo police station and conclude at Homelani Memorial Park, where the burial service to follow.
The procession will be limited to family members and first responders. The burial service, however, will be open to the public as well.
Kaliloa is survived by his wife, Casey, and three children.
