Investigation to close portion of Highway 11 on Tuesday

Police are closing down Volcano Highway (Route 11) from noon to 1:30 p.m. between Kukui Camp Road and North Kulani Road in Mountain View, for investigative purposes.

At the intersection of Volcano Highway and North Kulani Road, no traffic will be allowed northbound toward Keaau.

At the intersection of Volcano Highway and Kukui Camp Road, no traffic will be allowed Southbound toward Volcano.

Officers will be posted at both locations for traffic control, and the road will be reopened as soon as the investigation is complete, police said.
