The University of Hawaii will hold four public comment sessions on proposed administrative rules affecting Maunakea.
The rules address public and commercial activities on the mountain.
Meetings will be held at:
• 5-7 p.m. Sept. 24, Sullivan Conference Center, UH Cancer Center, 701 Ilalo St., Honolulu;
• 5-7 p.m. Sept. 25, ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center, 600 Imiloa Place, Hilo;
• 6:15-8:15 p.m. Sept. 26, Waikoloa Elementary &Middle School, 68-1730 Ho‘oko St., Waikoloa;
• 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 28, ‘Ike Le‘a Room 144, UH Maui Campus, 310 W. Ka‘ahumanu Ave., Kahului.
After the comment period, the rules will go to the UH Board of Regents for approval.
