A flash flood watch will be in effect for the entire state from this morning until Saturday evening.
With a body of moist air passing over the islands during the end of the week, the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of flooding rains throughout the state.
Chances of flooding will be greatest on the Big Island, Maui and Oahu, according to NWS forecasts, and is more likely to occur during afternoon hours today.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant and watch for potential road closures.
