A propane leak prompted the closure of Hilo-bound lanes on Highway 130 on Tuesday morning.
According to the Fire Department, a hazardous materials company was called in because of an unattended 5-gallon propane tank on the side of the highway that was leaking from a hole on the top.
The Hilo-bound lanes were closed as a controlled release occurred.
According to the Fire Department, the first unit was on scene at 9:35 a.m., with the last unit returning at 10:50 a.m.
