KAILUA-KONA — Police have identified a North Kona resort employee who died after an accident on the grounds occurred earlier this week.
Hawaii Police identified the deceased as Quincy Malisou, 43, of Waikoloa. According to officials, Malisou was working at a fishpond on the grounds of Kukio Golf and Beach Club when a coworker found him unresponsive Monday.
Authorities responded to the resort at 12:57 p.m. Monday where they found the 43-year-old, according to Hawaii Police. Hawaii Police Maj. Robert Wagner said when police arrived on scene at Kukio the victim was unresponsive and CPR was administered. He was later taken to North Hawaii Community Hospital via ground ambulance.
On Tuesday afternoon, Wagner said Malisou had died.
