Dion Dizon and Jamerson Rayoan paint lockers at Chiefess Kapiolani Elementary School in Hilo on Saturday as part of the Hawaii AFL-CIO’s Labor of Love community service program. More than 200 union members and other volunteers spent the day painting, installing bulletin boards and basketball hoops, and replacing the carpet in the school’s library.
