UH Regents confirm Irwin as UH-Hilo chancellor

The University of Hawaii Board of Regents last week unanimously confirmed Bonnie Irwin as the next chancellor of the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

Irwin, who has more than 30 years of experience in higher education, is currently provost and vice president for academic affairs at California State University Monterey Bay.

Her appointment will be effective July 1.
