Hawaii medical cannabis dispensary Big Island Grown will open its second location today in Waimea.
The second location, considered a satellite dispensary branch, will offer the same range of services as Big Island Grown’s location in Hilo, which opened in January.
The Waimea location, at the Malama Pono Center, will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays. Patients and caregivers must have a valid government-issued identification and a valid medical cannabis registration card to enter the dispensary.
A third location will be opened in Brewers Block in Kailua-Kona in the near future.
