Fire inspectors are investigating the cause of a Sunday afternoon blaze that destroyed an Ocean View home.
According to a written Fire Department statement, four units responded to the 1:27 p.m. alarm of the fire on Hawaii Boulevard between Hukilau and Coconut drives.
The first unit arrived at 1:35 p.m. to find heavy smoke emanating from the single-story residential structure. The fire was declared under control at 1:56 p.m. and extinguished at 3:06 p.m.
Damage was estimated at $60,000 and no injuries were reported.
