The Waiakea girls golf depth overwhelmed the competition at the latest meet at Hokulia.
Four Warriors finished in the top four, but only three scores were needed for Waiakea to claim its third straight BIIF team meet on Monday at the Jack Nicklaus-designed course.
Sophomore Lacey Uchida won her second medalist title with a 6-over 78, freshmen Kiersten Saludares and Kailey Oki each shot an 80, and senior Tia Kualii carded an 82.
Waiakea was the only team and shot a 78-80-80—238 total.
Christian Liberty’s Jaeda Yamasaki shot an 83, and Hilo’s Chanelle Hwang had an 87.
Kamehameha senior Pono Yanagi fired a 2-under 70 to capture his second straight meet.
Teammate and sophomore Dillon Ah Chong was runner-up with a 75, Waiakea’s Riku Omata had a 76, and Kealakehe’s Ethan Jaehn was fourth with a 77.
Hilo senior Riley Kaneshiro and his cousin Ethan Hironaga each posted a 78.
