A 41-year-old Hilo man accused of shooting and injuring his wife Thursday at an upper Kaiwiki Road home faces multiple charges in connection with the shooting.
According to police, Corey Kahuhipa Napoleon was charged at 8:55 p.m. Friday with attempted second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a separate felony and three counts of first-degree reckless endangering for the shooting.
At last report the 35-year-old victim, Miya Pumehana Napoleon, also known as Miya Sagucio, was in serious by stable condition at Hilo Medical Center.
Corey Napoleon’s bail is set at $330,000 and his initial appearance in Hilo District Court is scheduled for Monday at 1 p.m.
