Walkers enjoy a sunny morning and a clear view of Maunakea during the 2019 Hilo Heart Walk on Saturday morning at Hilo Bayfront Park. The event not only raised funds for the American Heart Association, but also encouraged participants to give healthy food donations to the Hawaii Food Basket. Along with the walk, events at the park included a health fair, entertainment, free CPR lessons and a keiki fun fair.
