Born in Hamakua, she worked as a taro farmer, mac nut picker, operator at Hamakua Plantation, bartender at Gil’s Bar, worked at Tex Drive Inn, was a retired custodian with the state of Hawaii and Hawaii Saddle Club 1968 Rodeo Queen.
