Sign-ups are ongoing for the Hilo High bowling team at the school’s main office.
Students can pick up an athletic physical form and a student participation form needs to be filled out before to the first day of tryouts, to be announced at a later date

Waikoloa Lions Club golf tournament
Waikoloa Lions Club will hold its annual golf tournament April 27 at Waikoloa Golf Course.
A two-person scramble, the tournament begins with registration at 7 a.m. and first tee off at 8 a.m.

Yamauchi golf tourney
The 17th annual Nobu Yamauchi Memorial Golf Tournament will be held June 11 at Hilo Municipal Golf Course with a 7 p.m. shotgun start.
Entry fee is $130 and includes green fee, cart, contests, individual and team prizes and lunch at Kim’s at Hilo Muni.
Funds raised will be used for the Nobu Yamauchi RBI Organization and partial scholarship for RBI players who will be attending college.
The format for the tournament will be two-person RBI crazy scramble using 30 percent of the team handicap with two-putt maximum.
The grand prize will be awarded to the low net team that finishes in 17th place (since this is the 17th tournament).
