Roofing maintenance projects are underway at Hilo High School.
According Derek Inoshita, a spokesman for the state Department of Education, buildings A, M and N will be re-roofed with new pre-finished corrugated panels. The project also calls for gutter replacements, wood rot spot repairs and insulation installation where needed.
Work on building A is currently in progress, while buildings M and N are staging to begin work.
Inoshita said work is anticipated to be completed this month after some delays from recent rains.
Work on Building A will cost $259,460.60, Building M will cost $66,709.35 and Building N will cost $99,809.66.
