Lynn Keiko Bradley, 72, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Kona, died Aug. 3 at her family’s residence. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired public school teacher who taught at Kealakehe, Hookena and Konawaena elementary schools, co-head of Early Start Preschool in Honolulu and an active member of the former Central Kona Union Church (Life Water Church). Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Life Water Church in Kealakekua. Memorial service 11 a.m. with lunch to follow. Aloha attire requested. Survived by son, David Bradley of Scottsdale; brother, Wilfred (Sue) Murakami of Kealakekua; one granddaughter; a niece, a nephew, a grandniece, a grandnephew and cousins.
Hitoshi “Hito” Ikeda, 91, of Hilo died July 19 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a professor of education with the University of Hawaii, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and avid golfer. Private services held. No koden. Takeo Ono, 95, of Hilo died July 20 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a civilian interpreter for the U.S. Army, truck driver for Yamada &Sons, custodian for Hilo High School, was part of the Ahualani Kumiai and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
