Join the Rotary Club of Hilo Bay for the 20th annual Oktoberfest, from 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Sangha Hall in downtown Hilo.
This fun-filled night wil feature authentic German music, dancing and delicious food that includes sausages, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels, beer, wine and dessert. A silent auction and costume contests will also be held. Organist Walter Greenwood will be joined by Roland Maurer on saxophone, Ursula Hesse on accordion and Charley O’Kelly on trumpet. Polka Dancers include Lon and Carol Hocker, Ceryse Livemore and Rosa Ahrens.
