Donations are welcomed for the annual Kaumana Elementary School PTSA sponsored Rummage Sale scheduled for 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 5, in the school’s cafeteria.
Money raised during the Rummage Sale provides funds for class expenses, excursions and cultural plays/events.
The PTSA asks the community to donate to help defray the costs of classroom needs, cultural events/performances and field trips.
Donations of recycled treasures will be accepted from 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 3-4 (Friday would be better due to storage space). Donations will be accepted outside the cafeteria in the upper parking lot.
Donation receipts will be given upon request. No computers, monitors or televisions. Organizers request people call ahead if they are donating any furniture and/or other large items.
If you have any questions, contact Noelani Spencer at 974-4190 after 2:15 p.m. daily or email, which is best, her at isabella.spencer@k12.hi.us.
The community is also encouraged to come out the day of the sale so more educational opportunities can be provided to the students of Kaumana Elementary.
There will be many treasures for sale at reasonable prices, including a lot of reasonably priced Halloween costumes for adults and keiki.
Come early for the best selection. There is sure to be something for everyone.
