Robert “Bob” Gene Lawson, 81, of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 23 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Eugene, Ore., he was a retired business owner, former car salesman for Orchid Isle Ford, race car builder and charter member of Kona Elks Lodge No. 2616. Celebration of Life at a later date.
