The Volcano Art Center’s 2019 Hula Voices series continues today, Oct. 2, featuring master lei maker Randy Lee with moderator Desiree Moana Cruz.

Hula Voices is an oral history project, presenting engaging, intimate talk-story sessions with Hawaii Island’s hula practitioners and musicians as they share their hula genealogy, traditions, protocols and experiences. These free, educational offerings occur regularly from 5:30-6:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Park entrance fees apply.
