On a team full of powerful hitters, Kamehameha coach Guy Enriques considers his sophomore setter to be the proverbial straw that stirs the drink.
Scanlan was reliable as ever last week as the Warriors remained unbeaten in handing Kealakehe and Waiakea their first losses.
“Dependable night to night,” Enriques said. “She is the core of our offense.”
