Margaret Gayle Inouye, 73, of Hilo died Oct. 16 at her residence. Born in Kansas, she was a retired librarian for the Hawaii Department of Education. Merrily Anne Ligon, 76, of Hawaiian Paradise Park died Oct. 6 at home. Born in Pontiac, Mich., she was a former teamster and data processor for Staters Bros. Markets, data processor for Loma Linda University Medical Center, U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Graveside committal service noon Monday, Oct. 28, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Richard G. Irene Kikue Oshiro, 94, of Mountain View died Oct. 4 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honomu, she was retired from the former Food Fair Supermarket and a member of Puna Hongwanji Mission. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by husband, Richard Eisei Oshiro of Hilo; daughter, Jeanne Nagatani of Honolulu; son, Russel (Marcella) Oshiro of Hilo; sister, Akiko Shimabukuro of Mountain View; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
