Police arrested a man and a woman, both of Hilo, after a 20-mile pursuit with speeds exceeding 100 mph Monday on Daniel K. Inouye Highway.
Dylan K. Naope, 28, was charged with two counts of excessive speeding, plus first-degree resisting an order to stop, reckless driving, driving without a license and insurance, contempt of court and two counts of revocation or modification of probation.
His bail was set at $23,000.
Cherise King, a passenger in Naope’s black 2002 Dodge pickup truck, was charged with methamphetamine possession and drug paraphernalia possession.
Her bail was set at $10,250.
Both were scheduled for initial appearances Wednesday in Hilo District Court.
