Big Island police on Thursday arrested a 41-year-old man wanted in Hinds County, Miss., for kidnapping.
Joseph O’Dell Fish of Edwards, Miss., was taken into custody without incident and charged on an extradition warrant in the case, which, according to court documents, stemmed from a child custody dispute.
Fish made an initial court appearance Friday and an extradition hearing is scheduled for Dec. 6.
