Medical examiner: Toddler’s death accidental

Police say the medical examiner has rendered his findings in the autopsy performed on a 4-year-old girl who died following an incident at a home in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision in Pahoa on Nov. 27.

The victim is identified as Kayla-Marie Kehaulani Mainaaupo. The cause of death was determined to be a stab wound and the examiner ruled her death was accidental.
