Police ID pedestrian killed in Keaau

Police identified a pedestrian who died after being struck by at least three vehicles during Thursday’s morning rush hour traffic on Highway 130 near the Keaau Transfer Station as 58-year-old David Foster Perrells, of Pahoa.

Police ask potential witnesses to the collision or who may have information related to any other involved vehicles or drivers not known to investigators to call the Hilo Traffic Enforcement Unit at 961-2339 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
