Joseph Kaai Flores, 64, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 3 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Kealakekua, he was a macadamia nut and coffee farmer. Woodson “Woody” Kidder Woods III, 88, of Waimea died Feb. 14 at home. Born in St. Louis, he was a businessman and owner of Royal Hawaiian Air Service, Mauna Kea Motors, Hawaii Trails, The Waimea Village Inn and Pohakea Ranch, pilot, sailor and U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War. Memorial service 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Davies Memorial Chapel on the Hawaii Preparatory Academy campus in Waimea. No flowers. Memorial donations to North Hawaii Hospice or the Woodson K.
