Additional performances of ‘Othello’ scheduled

The Hilo Community Players will offer additional performances of “Othello” after shows were canceled last week because of Hurricane Douglas.

Shakespeare in the Park … ing Lot, the Hilo Community Players’ 43rd annual Shakespeare in the Park production, will present previously scheduled performances of “Othello”at 7:30 p.m. tonight through Saturday and additional shows Aug. 2 and 6-8, in the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium parking lot.

Because of COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, the show will be presented in a drive-in format.

Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
