Police seek suspect in Mountain View murder, victim ID’d

Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 26-year-old murder suspect they say “should be considered armed and dangerous.”

Dwayne “CJ” Cory Wallace Jr. of Puna is described 6-foot-5-inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair, balding on top, and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a primer-gray Toyota 2-door sedan with Hawaii license plate number HLN 184.

Wallace is wanted for questioning in the murder of 26-year-old Peter Grammer Jr., whose body was found shot and lying in the roadway on North Kulani Road in Mountain View this afternoon.

Grammer was taken to Hilo Medical Center by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead at 2:04 p.m.
